Youth Programs

From first time climbers to future National Champions, our Youth Programs have a place for every child to experience the joys of rock climbing!

Our recreational youth programs run in 3 progressive 10-week sessions. Each unique session is designed to help kids develop foundational climbing skills while building social skills, strength, and confidence.

// GIBBONS ages 3-6

Bring in your tots to discover the fun-filled basics of kids climbing with the instruction of our friendly staff! Our staff create a comfortable and secure atmosphere as kids explore all areas inside of NH Climbing & Fitness. Focus is on helping your little one increase and recognize coordination, social skills, strength and confidence. Parents are welcome! Classes are held on Saturday.

// GECKOS ages 6-9

Kids will be introduced to the fundamentals of rock climbing through a variety of fun games and activities. Focus will be on introducing kids to bouldering, roped climbing and building problem solving skills. With positive and encouraging coaches your child’s skills and self‐esteem will rise even higher than they do on the climbing walls. Classes are on Wednesday or Saturday.

// MOUNTAIN GOATS ages 9+

This is a perfect program for older kids that want to develop their climbing skills in a non-competitive environment. Kids will have the opportunity to continue building on their physical and mental climbing skillsets along with learning the fundamentals of roped systems, including tying knots and belaying. Classes are on Tuesday or Saturday.

Club, Comp-Prep Team, and Comp Team require a try out and an invitation from our Head Coach. Interested individuals can contact our Head coach to schedule a try out.

Our Youth Team programs are designed for young athletes ready to take their skills to the next level by incorporating workouts, skills development, and competitions!

// CLUB TEAM ages 8-19

Our Club program is designed for youth climbers looking a for fun training program in a team environment. Club Team allows kids to build upon their foundational skills while also learning new technique and building their overall climbing strength. Club is the perfect program for motivated kids looking to eventually transition to our competitive team or who simply want to progress with structured training for non-competitive climbing.

Club Team practices are held on Monday and Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

// COMP PREP + COMPETITION TEAMS ages 8-19

Our Comp Team program is for youth climbers looking to improve their climbing and be pushed physically and mentally through structured training in a team environment. This program provides training geared specifically towards competitive climbing. As such, individuals are required to participate in USA Climbing competitions throughout the year under the guidance of our experienced coaching staff. This program is ideal for the highly-motivated individuals who enjoy being challenged in a fun environment.

Comp Team practices are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Comp Prep athletes can choose 2 days to attend each week.
