What about Starts and Finishes?

  • 4 point starts (ours are marked with brown tape on the climb's tape color, ie. Yellow taped boulder, small brown pieces at the ends designate the start position).

  • Finish holds are marked with one piece of tape that has the additional brown piece of tape on it.

  • Top Out Finishes. Many of our boulders are top out finishes. This will be stated in the app and on the start cards of the climbs.

    • The climber must be standing on top of the bouldering wall to complete a Top Out Finish boulder.

Can I project a boulder? Boulders can only be attempted from the start — no projecting sections.

  • Volumes are ALWAYS on for feet. Only on for HANDS if a hold from a climb is on a volume, the volume is taped, or the start card states the volume is on.
