Gym Rules

 

GENERAL RULES

A complete list of rules is posted at the gym.

  1. All members and guests must check in at the front desk.

  2. All members and guests must have a valid Waiver/Acknowledgement of Risk form on file. Minors (under 18) must have a Parent or Legal Guardian complete the form.

  3. Parents/Guardians/Chaperones are responsible for their children. Children under the age of 14 must have direct adult supervision.

  4. Equipment:  Harnesses must be commercial products designed for climbing. Helmets are not provided nor required.

  5. Barefoot, open-toed sandals, hiking boots or hard soled shoes are not allowed while climbing.

  6. A shirt must be worn at all times.

  7. Everyone must pass a top rope belay test prior to top rope belaying; and/or a lead climbing test prior to any lead climbing.

  8. No climbing with earbuds/headphones.

  9. Participants will be charged for non-returned rental equipment.

  10. Teaching or instruction is NOT allowed by participants and MAY ONLY BE conducted by GYM STAFF.

  11. Food, drinks, gum or toys are NOT allowed on the padded climbing floors or in the fitness areas.

  12. Water is permitted in a closed water bottle on the padded flooring.

  13. Running and/or swinging on the ropes.

  14. Drugs, alcohol or foul language are not permitted.  We are a PG-13 facility.  Offenders may be expelled without refund.

  15. We reserve the right to expel any visitor whose behavior is judged as overly risky or objectionable.

  16. We are not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items.
